Latino Ministry
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Mt. 25:35) These words of Our Lord remind us that faith is not an individual activity. We do not live out the Gospel in isolation. We are part of a family of faith; we are part of the Body of Christ. As part of this Body, we have a duty and obligation to others—especially to the newest among us.
This ministry is involved in outreach and development seeking to reach out and minister effectively to the Latinos in our midst. This community has much to offer us: deep spirituality, a sense of family and connectedness, and the richness of their cultural traditions and customs. We invite volunteers both Spanish speaking and English speaking to assist in this ministry.

Latino Grupo
“Porque tuve hambre y me diste de comer, tuve sed y me diste de beber, un extranjero y tú me dieron la bienvenida” (Mt. 25:35). Estas palabras de Nuestro Señor nos recuerdan que la fe no es una actividad individual. No vivimos el Evangelio en forma aislada. Somos parte de una familia de fe; somos parte del Cuerpo de Cristo. Como parte de este Cuerpo, tenemos una obligación y un deber con los otros –especialmente con los más nuevos o recién llegados entre nosotros.
Este grupo está a cargo de las consecuencias y la expansión de la efectiva localización y asistencia de los latinos de nuestro medio. Esta comunidad tiene mucho que ofrecernos: espiritualidad profunda, un sentido de familia y unidad y la riqueza de sus tradiciones y costumbres. Invitamos a voluntarios tanto de habla hispana como inglesa a participar en este grupo.
